MATCH GLOSSARY
Here's where you get a sense of what exactly we're doing. More to be added as we go.
- AMBULANCE MATCH: Put your opponent in the back of an ambulance and get them the care they'll undoubtedly need.
- BLOODSTAR MATCH: Five people enter. As someone bleeds, they are eliminated, and the last one standing is the winner.
- COFFIN MATCH: Put your opponent in a Coffin and wheel them out.
- ELECTRIC FENCE MATCH: Fatal Four-Way with Electric Barbed Wire ropes.
- ENDOCYTOSIS MATCH: Three cells are stacked with the title hanging in the middle cell. You have to break into the middle cell and grab the title, then drop into the ring with the belt to win.
- FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE: No disqualification, can pin or submit anywhere. Two or more people can be involved.
- FATAL FOUR-CORNERS MATCH: Tag match of four teams, where each team has a legal person to start. This is an elimination match.
- FATAL FOUR-WAY MATCH: Four people fight. It's no DQ but must be finished in-ring. This can also be a 5-way, and the name is changed accordingly.
- FOUR BY FOUR MATCH: Fatal Four Corners, but Stables (so 4-team survivor series)
- FOUR CORNERS MATCH: Four tag teams, two fighters start in the middle.
- FOREST MATCH: A tables gauntlet match, can be between 10-40 people depending.
- GAUNTLET ELIMINATOR: It's a Royal Rumble, but instead of getting tossed it's standard pin/submit rules.
- HEART CHAMBERS MATCH: 16 fighters are divided into four cells which is then an elimination match, with the final four having to exit their cells and engage in their own four-person elimination falls count anywhere match.
- INFERNO MATCH: The ring is surrounded in fire, you throw your opponent in. 2 or more people.
- I QUIT MATCH: Make your opponent say "I Quit"
- IRON CELL MATCH: Iron Man match in a Cell, Falls count anywhere rules apply. Can be 2 or more people.
- IRON PERSON MATCH: Two or more people go for most falls in a given time-limit.
- IRON SURVIVOR MATCH: Five competitors, two people start, and try to get the most falls in 30 minutes. Anyone who is pinned or submitted has to sit out 2 minutes before returning.
- LADDER MATCH: Climb a ladder, grab the thing. Can be any number of people or teams.
- LAST ONE STANDING: You have to knock your opponent out, boxing 10-count style. No other rules.
- MAWL FOR ALL MATCH: A match that lasts the entirety of the event, where anyone can pin the champion and become the champion, culminating ten minutes after the previous match, with the champion being whoever stands in the ring with the belt at the end of the night.
- MAYPOLE MATCH: Four poles, one on each corner, with ropes tied to the middle.
- MONARCH OF THE MAT: King of the Ring Styled Tournament, but for all genders.
- ONE VS ONE: Standard match with two people.
- PENTACLE MATCH: Five coffins are placed around the ring and six people fight. When someone is placed in a coffin for three seconds they are wheeled out. Until the officials return no one else can be eliminated.
- RUMBLE MATCH: A number of people (usually 30) enter in staggered amounts and attempt to throw each other from the ring.
- SPRING FLING: A 40-person Royal Rumble Event specific to the Spring.
- STABLES MATCH: Four v four (or more) tag with standard rules.
- SUBMISSION MATCH: Basically what it says on the tin.
- SURVIVOR TAG MATCH: Four vs Four (or more) elimination tag match.
- TABLE MATCH: Put your opponent through a Table.
- TAG TEAM: Two teams of two fight it out, with one legal person at a time. Standard rules apply.
- TAXIDERBY: 9 competitors in a Money in the Bank ladder match.
- TRIOS TAG: Three on Three.
- TRIPLE THREAT: Three people fight, one person wins. No DQ, but must be won in ring.
- ULTIMATE SUBMISSION: Iron-Person match but only submissions.
- WHAT FOUR: Four-person elimination knockout match.
- W2: This is our take on the G1/Continental Classic, a Round Robin event with a tournament at the end.
