INT. MALL OF AMERICA - ARENA SECTION - DAY

 

Soundgarden "Come Together" pipes through the speakers as Colin McRae and Bianca Diaz sit at their desk and the fireworks display goes off.

 

 

Bianca: Welcome welcome WELCOME!! We are now 2/3 done with the W2 Event for this year and we just keep thinking it's going to ease down and we just keep ramping up. I'm Bianca Diaz.

 

Colin: And I'm Colin McRae. Honestly, Bianca, I'm surprised we were allowed back after yesterday.

 

Bianca: If you missed it yesterday, Syndy Sweet absolutely decimated her former partner Taylor Tekk in the mall's central amusement attraction, including dropping him three stories from a mini-golf course. This was supposed to culminate in a trios match today but we've been informed that Tekk was kept overnight in the hospital and won't be able to appear today, but is in okay condition and scheduled to be discharged at some point today. This means that Greg Arias will be awarded the three points today, and the trios match has been moved to tomorrow.

 

Colin: And that trios match was set to feature the debut of Dangerous Johnny Dagger's friend, who I guess now will have-

 

The lights go out and red and yellow laser lights emanate from a spotlight that's strobing red and yellow from the entrance. The Interrupters "Title Holder" plays. A woman walks out in a Reckless leotard holding a microphone. She hops into the ring.

 

 

Razi: Greetings and salutations Minnesota USA! Allow me to introduce myself to you. I am Razi Shah from Ray, Iran.  I take my name Reckless in my friendship with Dangerous Johnny Dagger, who invited me here to help take care of a problem. Now, as your wonderful commenting team has pointed out, that reason has been pushed back a day. And I would be disappointed about this, except yesterday brought up an experience I wasn't expecting to face in coming here, and an opportunity to tie an end that has been loose a long time. Now, I hope that Kalpana has opened up about the title match where she interfered because she thought she was shorted on a tip. 

 

Colin: No. Could it-?

 

Razi: What I am also sure that has happened is that she left out the part where the person quickly forgot she tipped said bartender and immediately provided the tip to the hostess of the party and asked her to assure the bartender she was doing a good job. And I'm sure in telling you that part, she would have caught out that she was impulsive and didn't know the whole story, and in learning said story refused to course correct. Now Razi, you may ask, how do you know these other details, and then immediately you are probably coming to the conclusion for which I am about to tell you and that it was my title shot she ruined. So when I came out yesterday to help my good friend Johnny and I saw that bartender in a wrestling leotard, and then I asked around and learned that Kalpana has not changed her approach to the world, I knew immediately what the second part of my mission is here.

 

Jamiroquai "Cosmic Girl" plays as Kalpana struts out with a microphone and chuckles scornfully.

 

 

Kalpana: A woman calling herself "Reckless" out here chiding someone for actually being reckless. That sort of high horse hypocrisy was all over that event, and you being the "star" of that, it makes sense that you are dripping with it. 

 

Razi: Oh hypocrisy? Like Ms. No Gimmicks over here suddenly acting like she's on a catwalk...in...space? I told you I talked to people backstage and they filled me in on all of it. And If I thought you were doing this ironically, if I thought you'd have any sort of self-awareness, I'd have maintained a little bit of respect for you. But honey, what have you done to yourself? Here's some advice from an actual 10, a bottle of hairspray may double your height but it doesn't double your rating. 

 

Kalpana angrily charges the stage, lunges through the ring and spears Razi Shah. Leila Blake walks out.

 

 

Leila: Well, since your fight for today was pushed, Razi Shah, we're going to call this a one-fall match. Ring the bell.

 

Leila walks out of the arena space. Andra Jones enters the ring.

 

 

Colin: And we're off with an unexpected match. Razi Shah drives a knee into Kalpana's midsection. Kalpana responds with an elbow right to the chest cage. Razi grabbing Kal's arm now, hook back and an arm-hook DDT! Razi continuing to wring the arm and knee to the arm. Whipping Kal off the ropes and Rocket Kick! Kalpana bounces up and Poison Rana to Razi!! 

 

Bianca: Razi responds with an Alley Oop Bomb, Kalpana rocks back up with a lariat. Razi quick up with a Pele kick, off the rope with a forearm shot. Razi with a belly-to-belly, goes for a pin but Kal rolls up quickly and an eye rake to Razi, Razi responds with a slap. And a Discus Superkick by Razi Shah! The cover and-

Colin: And Kal reverses the pin! But Razi with the headbutt. Both to their feet now. Both off the rope, and dueling jumping lariats! They're both down!

Bianca: I don't know why we didn't expect Kalpana's past to catch up to her but here we are.

Colin: And they're both up, and Kalpana with a tilt-a-whirl headlock driver! And she kicks Razi in the head. Razi responds with tripping her but Kal turns that trip into an elbow drop! Razi rolls up to her feet and arm wringer flip on Kalpana! Razi follows it up with a fisherman suplex! Eye rake by Kal to prevent a pin and Kal goes into a headlock and series of scratches and punches on Razi. Whoa! Razi takes them both up and spinning neckbreaker by Razi! 

 

Bianca: We can see why Razi was on her way to a title reign, she's got an answer for everything and now running off the ropes to go for a shooting star and KAL KICKS HER IN THE FACE! Razi grabs the offending leg and Knee Smash! And slingshots her! Both up and this gives Kal some runway and she runs to the ropes, coming back and ANOTHER DUELING LARIAT! Both of them rolling away from each other, you can definitely see the similar training in each other.

 

Colin: It's giving Ryu vs Ken, Kitana vs Mileena. Razi with a quick jab to Kalpana. Off the ropes and back, bulldog to Kalpana! Continuing the run and a fist drop! Razi out to the apron and coming back...flying over the rope...630!!! What a landing!

Colin: You can tell that Kalpana is positively STEAMING right now. I don't think this new version of her is working out the way she wants it to. 

 

W2 DAY 9

 

Zora Luthor walks out with Jenkins, as Kalpana seethes in the ring. Yeah Yeah Yeahs "Rich" plays after a slight delay as no one expected her to be coming to fight this quickly.

 

 

Ash: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and will count towards points in the Round Robin! In the ring, from the Nepali Space Station, Deep Space 10, KALPANA! And her opponent, accompanied by Jenkins, from Wall Street, the CEO of the Nor'Easter, ZORA LUTHOR!

 

Colin: I would not be walking into that ring if I were Zora, Kalpana wants blood.

 

The bell rings and Kalpana throws hammer fists directly into Zora's head. 

 

Bianca: And it looks like she's going to get it! Zora's taking it right to the face and not even out of her blazer yet, Kalpana just ravaging her and she pulls the blazer off and now she's kicking her in the head and Kalpana yanks the turtleneck partway over the head of Zora! And Crossface! She's smothering Zora with her turtleneck and holding her in a crossface! This is cruel! Zora taps! Kalpana could literally have killed her in our first match.

Ash: Here is your winner and awarded three points, the Deep Space 10, KALPANA!

 

Kalpana grabs the microphone as Zora gasps for air and Jenkins helps her pull the turtleneck down.

 

Kalpana: Let this be a message to all of you. And this includes you, Freckles. I AM the baddest woman here. My looks are a 10, my skills are a 10, and my drive to win is a 10. Razi Shah, clearly preventing you a title win wasn't enough, now I'm gonna have to go ahead and end your career. 

 

Kalpana drops the mic and struts out as Jamiroquai "

 

Colin: Freckles?

 

Bianca: Hate to say she had your number but. 

 

Colin: And Kalpana makes an example of Zora Luthor and puts the whole of MAWL on blast, including our incoming Razi Shah. 

 

Bianca: And this proves Razi's point. Kalpana couldn't handle losing and got all murdery. 

 

Colin: And we're only one match into today's series of rounds and already it's gone off the rails. I think this next match should be exciting in a more sane way.

 

Ash is in the ring.

The drum riff hits to the instrumental version of Nothing But Thieves "Trip Switch" hits as three lightning bolts shoot from an image of the Manx three-leg symbol done as gears. The lights give a flickering feeling, as if power surging. Tamara punches the ground then raises her arm slowly. Tamara walks down the ring, cracking her fists, all business. The crowd cheers, but she pays them no mind. She's all business. She enters the ring and punches the ground again, then slowly raises her shades off and gives the smallest of smiles.

 

 

Ash: First, from Onchan, Isle of Man, the Circuitbreaker, TAMARA RIVERS!

 

We hear the sweeping entrance of a news broadcast as a voice says "Now here's Kira Dain with the weather" as Kira Dain enters onto the stage.

 

 

The voice keeps its newscaster voice as the music abruptly cuts and says "And Pain." At this point Kira takes off her blazer to reveal her wrestling top to cheers from the crowd as fireworks go off on the ramp. The music shifts to Nita Strauss feat. Dorothy "Victorious" and she pumps her arms with the crowd as she walks down the ring. She gets in the ring and rips off the skirt to reveal her wrestling trunks.

 

Ash: And her opponent, from Sheridan, Wyoming, KIRA DAIN!

 

The bell rings. 

 

Bianca: And here you have two of the most no-BS fighters in the women's side of the tournament, so this looks to be an exercise in brutality. And they're going in, trading fists. Judo flip by Kira. Tamara coming back and throwing right hooks to the kidney and a left hook to the face. Kira seems to be taking the hits well, her MMA background is showing here in the resilience, and starting to parry the fists, knees and mid kicks to Rivers. Dain gets Rivers in a headlock and trying to get an armlock in, Cobra Clutch! 

 

Colin: If Rivers is in duress, she's not showing it in her face and JAWBREAKER! Rivers with a ripcord knee smash! Rivers with a gutwrench powerbomb! And mounting punches. Dain reverses into her own mounted punching! Camel Clutch in. Dain tightens the lock and Rivers still looking impassive though her sweat beads are betraying that pain. Rivers trying to get her feet to the rope, but Dain cranks even harder. Rivers fighting, fighting, to her knees, to her feet, charging back into the turnbuckle! 

 

Bianca: And a boxing combo by Rivers in the corner but Dain is trying to get some high punches and Rivers with the back body drop! Rivers picking up Dain and powerslam! Dain bounces a bit on the mat, that truly looks like it shocked her system. Dain gets up and using her long legs to keep Rivers at a distance.

 

Colin: Smart, Rivers is dangerous up close. Dain seems to understand the assignment. Kick combo and a boot that pushes Rivers just a little too far back and out of reach. Someone is going to have to approach someone. Squaring up, this really does feel more like an MMA or boxing match, they're squaring up, punching and parrying, Rivers gets in there and they're exchanging punches again, but Rivers cuts the tension with a short-arm lariat!

 

Bianca: This may be what gives Rivers the edge is that she is more comfortable with doing the slam part than Dain is, and that she can exercise her strength more that way. Pulling Dain in and a Spinebuster. Dain still has fight in her and pulls her down with her, throwing punches at an increasing rate and the two continue to throw punches back and forth, Rivers gets blows in, Dain makes a snap suplex out of it and pulls her up, she's getting the cross up and NO RIVERS SLIDES DOWN AND SUPERKICK 1! SUPERKICK 2! SUPERKICK 3! TRISKELIOOOOON!

 

Colin: She lands on her for the pin!

Tamara Rivers wins by Pinfall with the Triskelion!

 

 

Ash: Here is your winner and awarded three points, the Circuitbreaker, TAMARA RIVERS!

 

Bianca: And we are learning that after the chaos of yesterday, the Manifestation of Defenestration also stayed overnight in a hospital, and are not here today. So now we have lost three of our scheduled W2 matches, giving Rade and Neon Juan default wins. 

 

Colin: Rade doesn't deserve that win after his actions. 

 

Bianca: I agree, but the fact is his competitor is not here today. 

 

Colin: So what, we just have a shortened day today? I think these fans came for some fights. 

 

Bianca: I'm sure Leila will have some updated info, oh and here she comes!

 

Leila Blake shows up with a microphone.

 

 

Leila: As you all know, three of our W2 fights had to be canceled tonight and given default victories due to three of our competitors being hospitalized last night. They will be in action tomorrow night once again, as it has been confirmed to me that they are in condition and willing to fight, and are in the process of being discharged as we speak. However, this raises a conundrum for us - that was three fights that you were expecting, and we don't like to leave you in the lurch. So here is what will happen. We will have our next women's match, then we will have the three men's matches consecutively, then the remaining three women's matches. At the end of that we will have two matches that were previously unannounced, and all competitors have confirmed fight availability, which is good as three of them are the default winners of which we speak. So our new main events tonight will be Greg Arias, Neon Juan Guyverno, and Rade in a triple threat match, and THEN, a 12-team Fatal Four Corners Gauntlet for the Tag Titles!

 

The crowd goes nuts.

 

Bianca: Wait, what??

 

Colin: This is the second time this week P. Crue has had to put their belts on the line unexpectedly. I wonder if Leila is punishing them to represent Waves of Pain, as Marvin Patel is currently trying to take her seat.

 

Leila: We will start with four teams. Once a team is completely eliminated the next team will come and take their place.

 

Bianca: This is truly insane.

 

Leila: Our current champions P. Crue have informed me that they love a fight and, I quote, "are looking for all the asses to kick." So without further ado, let the fighting return!

 

Leila leaves and Ash returns to the ring.

 

 

Ash: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and will count towards points in the Round Robin!

 

Pink siren lights spin around the arena. Chloe x Halle "Grown" plays as Imogen struts out, surrounded by a crew person on each side holding a one-sided mirror where the fans can see Imogen but Imogen can see only herself. Imogen spins her finger around and the three mirrors stand together so that she can watch herself take the fur coat and hat off which she then throws on the mirror holders. She keeps her sunglasses on while anyone else enters and stands in a corner disinterested, only taking off the glasses and tucking them into a turnbuckle for later use.

 

 

Ash: First, from her penthouse suite on 5th Ave, New York, New York, the Reflection of Perfection, IMOGEN!

 

Bianca: It occurs to me that we hadn't seen Imogen enter on her own since Nor'Easter formed because of how her matches have been laid out, and now she's truly on her own. And because of the way that the matches were split, Morgan Maverick is no longer the next match and so they couldn't use that excuse.

 

Colin: That was Leila truly making the best out of a bad situation.

 

The lights go green and the projection of a giant eye illuminates the ramp. "Under My Umbrella" by Incubus plays as Iris Correa walks out in her scrubs and high-fives audience members.

 

 

Ash: And her opponent, from Denver, Colorado, the Eye-Con, IRIS CORREA!

 

The bell rings.

 

Colin: And we're off! Iris is throwing elbow jabs at Imogen and going for the Irish Whip but Imogen just says stops herself and says "nope."

 

Bianca: Can, can they just do that?

 

Colin: I guess? Iris tries again and Imogen pulls her into a midsection kick. Imogen with a DDT. Imogen picks Iris up by the hair and scoop slam! And a series of brutal kicks to the face, Imogen taking a moment to mock the crowd and Iris isn't someone you want to turn your back to. 

 

Bianca: Agreed. Iris with the chop block and takes Imogen down. Iris picks Imogen's knee up, is she going for the crab? No, knee smash! Imogen turns herself around and kangaroo kick! Iris stumbles a bit and atomic drop by Imogen! And that becomes a facebuster! Imogen seems very sure of herself. 

 

Colin: Correa not there for the disrespect and Imogen doesn't learn, bulldog by Correa drives Imogen to the mat! Correa gets Imogen up and fireman's carry into a solid Samoan Drop! Iris running off the ropes and she gets some height on that elbow drop! Correa goes for the pin but Imogen rakes the eyes and face smash into her knee! And Imogen charges Correa into the turnbuckle and head smash on the turnbuckle! Holding her the rope and pressing Correa's face into the turnbuckle now, Andra starts the count.

Bianca: Imogen lets go, but she...sticks her fingers in Iris's mouth? That's nasty. She's...she's having Correa bite the rope! She's sitting on Correa's head! Andra counts again.

Colin: Imogen lets go and you may not be able to see it from a distance but you can feel the eyes rolling. And Correa trying to get some hits in now, landing a few fists, actually gets Imogen whipped and Imogen goes for the run but hooks onto the rope and Iris goes charging for her but IMOGEN JUMPS AND CORREA GOES THROUGH THE ROPE! Out onto the Apron and catches herself before she goes ringside, Springboard Pop Rox by Correa and off the ropes, SHINING WIZARD! Correa picks Imogen up, corkscrew neckbreaker! Correa with a hatch suplex! Is she feeling brave enough to try it, going off the ropes and could be looking for a Red Eye here but Imogen leapfrogs her and catches her in the Lasting Impression! Going for the pin!

Bianca: And that's going to be the needed impact that will get Imogen in prime position to be knockout-round bound. 

 

Colin: Couldn't agree more. She did just fine on her own and is making this work for her.

 

Bianca: And now we move onto the half of the men's matches that remain.

 

Ash enters the ring.

A man in a Crash Test themed suit with crash test symbol face paint and crash helmet, and carrying a dummy as Primitives “Crash” plays. This is “Crash Course” Craig Convery who runs to the ring while shaking the dummy and then running headfirst into the ring apron, acting dazed, and then telling the dummy to wait for him before getting into the ring.

 

 

Ash: First, from Detroit, Michigan, weighing in at 211 pounds, Crash Course Craig Convery! And his opponent-

 

Ash is interrupted as trumpets blare and a red carpet comes down. The minstrel enters first, followed by flower bearers, and begins to sing to the tune of a madrigal and play his lute. As he does so, Landon Gentry walks in behind him, in full Redcoat Regalia.

 

 

Minstrel: O Come, O Come, Tell ye a Tale, of a Champion in the making/ the pain he will bring to the riff-raff in ring/ the win is his for the taking/ if you stand in his way the tax you will pay by way of pain beyond your worst fears/ So lay down for pin and give him the wind or you will leave here in tears. 

 

Ash: From Scunthorpe England, Landon Gentry.

 

The Minstrel continues to strum his lute to the same tune. The flower bearers approach the ring and use their hands to create a stepstool on which Landon steps and enters the ring. He waves in the flower bearers who take off his robe to reveal a bare chest. He puts his fists up as if to engage in fisticuffs and donnybrooks. The bell rings.

 

Bianca: If you want to talk about two ends of an alignment chart, here is very much lawful evil and chaotic evil going head to head.

 

Colin: I mean is it lawful if your minstrel is hitting you with a lute to give you a victory?

 

Bianca: I...I guess not? Maybe? It's using rules to your advantage. I don't know. Anyway Landon seems absolutely repelled by this madman, has his gloves on early, and Convery charging towards him, Landon with a slap. Convery...asking him for another? Landon looks at him and slaps him again. This just seems to make Convery more energized and Landon is perplexed to say the least. Convery with a jumping DDT on Landon. 

 

Colin: He truly gets more and more deranged as the days go on.

 

Bianca: And he appears to jumping for joy, bouncing in place, and oh! Charging up a somersault senton apparently and lands it. Arm wringer flip by Convery and he's coming off the ropes, a frog splash! Pin-

Colin: Landon pushes him off and looks disgusted as he wipes down his body. 

 

Bianca: Maybe don't fight with your shirt off if you can't handle the feeling.

 

Colin: Especially when fighting someone who's liable to do this! Convery jumps on Gentry's back and has a sleeper locked in! Gentry trying to fight him off and turns it into a sidewalk slam! Gentry clearly mortified. But also unsure what to do with Convery. Starting with a series of stomps but Convery just laughing at him, like he's being tickled! 

 

Bianca: You truly have to keep Craig Convery down. I don't know if Landon has the fortitude to do this. 

 

Colin: Well he needs to figure it out if he wants to have a hope of beating this guy, he needs this win to still have a fighting shot at the final day tournament. 

 

Bianca: He's signaling for something, is he trying to cheat...oh, his coat! He's decided to resume wrestling with his coat on! That'll restrict his motion. Convery taking advantage of this distraction to shoulder tackle him in the back, pushing him against the ropes. Landon turns around and cold cocks him with a stiff punch! Convery wobbling a bit and Landon with the Hunting Dog!

Colin: Well, Landon got the win. I'm not convinced he didn't have something in his coat to just stop Craig cold like that.

 

Bianca: If he did, Andra didn't see it, and Landon takes the points. 

 

Colin: So on we roll! Ash, take us away.

 

Ash stands in the ring.

Habitually Henry "Capybara" plays as Capybara pops up and down in the audience before flipping into the ring. 

 

 

Ash: First! From Bang Phra, Thailand, weighing 201 pounds, CAPYBARA!

 

The word "DANGER" flashes on the screen. "D is for Dangerous" by Arctic Monkeys plays. Red sirens reflect throughout the room and Dangerous Johnny Dagger stands on the apron, looking down. He stomps and pyro in the shape of a triangle forms around him. He looks up and the triangle pyro explodes outward. He runs at a full sprint towards the ring then without breaking stride slides in. He hits the mat with his fists and lets out a scream, at which time the fans cheer.

 

 

Ash: And his opponent, from Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina, weighing in at 202 pounds, Dangerous Johnny Dagger!

 

The bell rings, Dagger and Capybara shake hands.

 

Colin: And Capybara has been a solid force to reckon with this whole event. But Dagger is true to his name, and Danger is always around. Dagger off the ropes and swinging neckbreaker! Off the other side of the ropes and single leg dropkick! Float-over snapmare! Dagger keeping a pace that Capybara would typically be setting. Only 1 pound between them, and with their fighting styles this would typically be a much more back and forth, but Dagger seems to be trying to flood Capybara with attacks. And a forearm shot truly rings Capybara's bell! 

 

Bianca: Dagger expected to be fighting already but one of the partners he decided to throw his weight behind was dropped three stories yesterday.

 

Colin: True. So you can see that pent-up fire coming out now. 

 

Bianca: But Capybara able to block a second forearm shot and float-over DDT! Jumping headbutt! Capybara slams him down with an arm wringer flip! And Dagger bounces but gets back up and answers with a dropkick. And off the ropes and here comes the Warning Sign! Dagger looks to be putting a quick end to this match!

 

Colin: I heard that he may be involved in that tag title match later, so it makes sense he'd want to wrap this up soon.

Colin: I can't shake the feeling that Schmetterling is walking into a trap. Not that that's ever stopped him before.

The lights go out, and we hear the yell of "SCHMETTERLIIIIIIING" and the crowd goes nuts as Schmetterling walks out to Rammstein "Mein Herz Brennt" with a mini flamethrower that he shoots in the sky whenever "BRENNT" is yelled.

 

 

Ash: First, from Mellrichstadt, Germany, weighing in at 219 pounds, the MAWL Champion, SCHMETTERLIIIIIIING!

 

DNCE "Cake by the Ocean" plays as Sprinkl comes out fist pumping, flanked by Sugar Cooki and Syndy Sweet, who are also fist pumping and threatening to fight random audience members as they boo them. 

 

 

Ash: And his opponent, accompanied by Syndy Sweet and Sugar Cooki, from Boston, Massachusetts, weighing 212 pounds, Sprinkl!

 

The bell rings.

 

Bianca: And Schmetterling looking to employ a similar strategy that Tamara tried and is keeping Sprinkl in the middle of the ring, throwing fists and axe handles! Schmetterling lifts up for a Suplex, going in on the Jackhammer! 

 

Colin: Smart, a Suplex would get Sprinkl too close the edge. And Schmetterling mounted punches, getting in a headlock and trying for a crossface! Ash: The following contest is a Fatal Four Corners Gauntlet for the MAWL Tag Titles! Currently in the ring are the teams of Morgan Maverick and Imogen, Sugar Cooki and Syndy Sweet, and Hazel Clarke and Good Dude Greg Arias! And the 4th team is...

 

Three Days Grace "Animal I Have Become" plays as Jaguar King and Lionheart come out and point at the ring.

 

 

Ash: And! From New York, New York, Jaguar King and Lionheart, the Animalities!

 

The bell rings. 

 

Colin: And here we go! We have Imogen, Sugar Cooki, Greg Arias, and Lionheart to start. Sugar Cooki with a rattling spinebuster to Imogen! Arias throws Lionheart into his corner and tags in Clarke, double brainbuster!  Clarke whips Cooki into the corner now, tags Arias back in and Arias holds Cooki while Clarke hits her with a single-leg dropkick! Lionheart with a couple quick rights to Imogen.

 

Bianca: Arias attempts to throw Lionheart back into the corner but Lionheart pulls him into a ripcord Rock Bottom! Cooki with some hard knees to Imogen's stomach. Imogen attempts to respond with a lariat but Cooki catches the arm and arm-hooked DDT! Lionheart attempts a crucifix pin on Arias but Arias swings it around to an Unprettier! And Imogen can't catch a break, as Lionheart with a jumping roundhouse to her! Cooki hits Arias with a slap, then low blow DDT! She goes for the pin-

Colin: Arias kicks up at 1. Imogen gets a hold of Sugar Cooki...into the corner and tags in Maverick, Imogen with the low blow and Maverick with the mushroom stomp! They call this the North by Northeast! And Lionheart with a running kippou kick to Arias. Maverick and Sugar follow that up with a double suplex to Arias. Oof.  A tag wouldn't be the worst idea. 

 

Bianca: Seems Arias agrees, sends Sugar over to the corner and gets Clarke back in, assisted blockbuster! Lionheart with a corkscrew uppercut to Maverick! Clarke charging in the direction of Lionheart and Maverick, double back body drop to Clarke! Cooki comes over, she and Clarke try it on Lionheart and he hits a neckbreaker on both of them! Clarke responds with a sharp spin kick, tagging Arias back in and Arias and Clarke with the assisted Blockbuster on Lionheart! Going for the pin but Lionheart kicks out before 1! But that's not gonna stop him from being a target...Maverick tags Imogen back in and they hit a double dropkick on Lionheart! 

 

Colin: They really have it out for Lionheart. Arias with a quick jab to Cooki. Lionheart jabs Arias in response and Cooki with a swinging neckbreaker on Imogen. Lionheart runs for the crucifix on Imogen but Imogen catches with a low blow! Arias tries for the fisherman suplex on Cooki but quick elbow shot by Cooki! Imogen hits Sugar with a spinning powerslam! Arias with a quick jab to Lionheart. And Arias tries for the fisherman again on Cooki and nails it! But Cooki kicks up at 1.  Slap by Imogen with a slap on Lionheart.

 

Bianca: King and Sweet yet to get into this. Hurricanrana by Imogen on Lionheart. Cooki drives Arias into the mat with a tights-grab piledriver, and goes for the pin!

Colin: Arias up but Imogen drives a sharp elbow into his face. Lionheart with the Liontamer on Cooki! Sweet springboard dropkick and Lionheart is off! Lionheart and Arias switch enemies and Lionheart with a rabid tilt-a-whirl headscissors on Imogen! Arias with a Spinebuster and goes for the pin but Sweet pulls him off and Andra tells her to get back outside. Lionheart tries for the shining wizard on Arias but Arias grabs his leg and whips him over to the other side of the ring! Imogen with a jumping bionic elbow, and goes for the pin-

Bianca: Lionheart, don't be a hero! Tag! Lionheart chooses instead to charge Arias again and gets powerslammed. Sugar finally tags Sweet in and Sweet with a dropkick on Imogen. Arias charges over with a shoulder block to Sweet then following up with a stomp. Imogen with an Hair Pull Mat Slam on Lionheart, picks him up and NextGen! Going for the pin-

Colin: Jaguar King saves him! Lion did you forget you have a tag partner? Sweet with a stomp on Imogen and Arias with a scoop slam on Lionheart! Sweet sneaks up behind Arias and schoolboy pin! Imogen up and tries for an elbow drop on Lionheart but he rolls out of the way and tags King in! Andra counts Sweet's pin-

Bianca: Arias barely kicks up! Imogen trying for a hot tag and Sweet grabs her for a face smash, Imogen responds with a possum jawbreaker! Arias greets King by throwing him into the corner and tagging Clarke in, Doomsday Splash! Sweet mounts the supine Jaguar King and throwing hooks. Clarke charges Imogen but she catches her with a hip toss, and a step on the face. Sweet locks in the Baker's Dirty Dozen on Jaguar King! Jaguar King taps!!

Lionheart enters the match.

 

Colin: Jaguar King didn't last that long all things considered. I guess he was thrown by that Doomsday Splash. Arias trading blows with Imogen. And low blow by Syndy Sweet to Lionheart and locks in the Baker's Dirty Dozen to him as well! Lionheart is out! One team down!

 

Lionheart is eliminated by Syndy Sweet with the Baker's Dirty Dozen! The Animalities are out!

 

 

Smashing Pumpkins "The End is the Beginning is the End" plays as Omega X and Genesis run walk into the match!

 

 

Genesis enters the match and Omega X takes his corner. 

 

Bianca: Unbelievable! Genesis has made a recovery and the End Begins are here!

 

Colin: Imogen and Clarke hit a double spear tackle to Genesis! Not the welcoming committee he was expecting I'm sure! Hazel holds Imogen up for Sweet and Sweet charging, Imogen escapes and Sweet nails Hazel with a single leg dropkick, Imogen catches Sweet into a half nelson suplex! Imogen picks Hazel up and NextGen! Genesis with a stiff elbow drop on Sweet. Imogen with the pin on Hazel.

Bianca: Greg from outside pulling her off. Sweet rolls up, with a running mushroom stomp right into the spine of Imogen. Hazel to her feet and spinning heel kick to Genesis. Imogen with a driving bulldog to Genesis. Clarke throws Sweet into the ropes, hits the 619 and Springboard Facebuster! DUCK BILL! But Sugar Cooki knocks Clarke off. Clarke tags in Arias and stereo spinebusters on Genesis and Sweet! Imogen taking this moment to try to get an elbow drop pin on Genesis! He's up before the pin, but Imogen takes him back down with a brainbuster. Arias tags Clarke back in. Genesis and Sugar hitting stereo suplexes on Imogen and Clarke! Genesis drives Sugar and Clarke down with a double bulldog. Genesis with a gutwrench powerbomb on Sweet. Clarke pops up, and Trouble in Paradise on Imogen, but Maverick kicks Clarke off. 

 

Colin: Imogen takes the advantage and hits NextGen on Clarke! Genesis with the double axe handle on Sweet! Imogen now with the NextGen on Sweet! Clarke up and attempts a victory roll but Genesis sits on her. And now Genesis with a spike piledriver on Clarke! Sweet pops up and neckbreaker on Imogen! Imogen responds with a spinning brainbuster on Sweet, Genesis with a stomp on Clarke. Clarke up and Poison Rana on Imogen. Sweet with a rocket kick on Genesis. Clarke tags Arias back in and hurricanrana to Imogen by Clarke into a spinebuster by Arias! Arias pins Imogen...

Bianca: Sweet with a huge axe kick on Arias! Genesis attempts a rollup on Maverick but she turns it around into a snap suplex. Maverick with a headlock driver on Arias, Sweet with an eye rake on Genesis, then one on Maverick. Genesis with a Michinoku Driver on Arias, trying for the pin but Arias is up. Genesis with a forearm to Arias.  Maverick adds a boot to the back of Arias's head, Genesis with a quick punch to Sweet and tags in Omega. Sweet throws Maverick into the corner, tags in Sugar Cooki, SugarShokk! Omega gets a quick punch in on Arias. 

 

Colin: The team of Arias and Clarke are holding on but at this rate I'm not sure they can manage too much longer, a big double DDT by Sugar and Maverick on Arias. Sugar tags Sweet back in. Imogen with a jawbreaker to Omega. And Sweet has Arias wrapped up in the Baker's Dirty Dozen, and that's it! Arias is gone!

Hazel Clarke enters the match!

 

Bianca: Clarke drills Omega with a Trouble in Paradise and Sweet locks in the Baker's Dirty Dozen!  Genesis throws a chair at Sweet and she unhooks Omega. Genesis the first one to bring weapons into this match. Omega up and a huge chokeslam to Clarke! Sweet with a low kick to Maverick. Maverick ignores Sweet and spear tackle to Clarke! Sweet with a running front dropkick to Omega. Sweet and Clarke with stereo powerbombs to Omega and Maverick! That looks like it may have been a mistake...Omega hits Sweet with a release suplex and Maverick rocks Clarke with a jackhammer! 

 

Colin: Clarke retreating for a second, I don't blame her, it's been rough in there and Maverick and Sweet take this time to double-spear Omega X! Clarke back in and she and Omega with a double punch on Sweet.  Omega attempts to get a ripcord lariat on Sweet but she comes back with what looks like brass knuckles! Where'd she get those?? Clarke still in this and running double knee to Maverick! Omega responds with the chair to Sweet! And Clarke locks in the Platytude!! Maverick gets to the ropes and elbow shots Clarke in the face. Maverick charging herself up and spear and punch to Omega! Clarke with the spinning DDT to Sweet. Clarke locks in the Platytude on Sweet!  Sweet reverses into the Baker's Dirty Dozen! Clarke taps!!

They leveraged their spot in the Manifestation of Defenestration goodbye tag match, which will now go to the runners up of this event, because having the titles is more of a draw. I don't blame them for that. Sweet with a foot choke to Omega X, Maverick greets Puffin with a punch. Sweet made the mistake of doing the foot choke in Flightless's corner because Puffin is over there and tags in Pen Gwen...Irish whipping Sweet into the Fallaway Moonsault! Sweet takes a ride on the Ice Floe!! Going for the pin...

Bianca: Sugar Cooki boots Gwen off! And Omega comes in for a running double axe handle on Gwen! Sweet with the hurricanrana on Maverick that she turns into punches! Gwen responds to the double axe handle with a headlock driver! Syndy Sweet throws Maverick into the corner and tags in Sugar Cooki, gets Maverick on her shoulders and the Fame-Asser off the top! What a SugarShokk! Omega hits Gwen with a Crucifix driver but can't convert it into a pin. Cooki on the other hand is going for the pin.

Colin: Maverick rakes Sugar's eyes and gets up, but Cooki responds to this with the Eat Defeet. Omega X drives Gwen down with the Spinebuster. Cooki heading to the ropes, up on the middle and gets Omega with the Cooki Cutter! Gwen takes this opening to hit a small senton on Maverick. Genesis stops Cooki from going for the pin by tagging himself in. Cooki hits Gwen with a swinging neckbreaker, Genesis gets a quick punch on Maverick. Cooki and Gwen sneak up behind and double back suplex on Maverick!

 

Bianca: Maverick up, and Genesis decides to get in on this, double chokeslam to Gwen! Genesis goes for the pin-

Omega throws a fist to Puffin. Puffin still looking fresh all things considered, let's see how long that lasts. Puffin comes charging for Maverick and Maverick whips her full force at Sugar! Maverick picks Sugar up and inverted front slam! Omega lays a quick jab on Puffin.

 

Bianca: Double sidewalk slam on Sugar by Puffin and Maverick! Sugar is looking brutalized and should tag out, she's the only one who can right now. She reaches out for it, but Maverick with an Electric Chair Suplex! Puffin returns the jab on Omega, then hits him with a flipping neckbreaker. Sugar hits Maverick back with a dropkick, and sit down atomic drop! And the sleeper is locked in! She calls this Santa's Lap! Maverick is done!

 

Morgan Maverick is eliminated by Sugar Cooki with the Santa's Lap Submission! Nor'Easter is out!

 

 

"Sweet Caroline" by Neil Diamond plays as Bryce Nice and Norman Normal walk out.

Colin: The tag champs at the start of all of this are back! Omega with a Big Boot on Puffin, and Sugar with a one-two punch on Norman. Sugar coming around to take care of Puffin and Puffin with a Gaping Maw Jawbreaker! Omega hits Norman with a forearm as Puffin goes for the pin on Sugar Cooki!

Bianca: A dominant start by T. Krip...and oh no Eak is here! Zeke the Sneak is greeted by Puffin Pam with an insane velocity of a running headbutt! And a slap by Bryce to Krip, I don't blame her for having something to say about quickly dispatching of her partner like that. Puffin turning her attention over to Krip now and a charging headbutt to him as well! Sneak responds to Puffin with a jumping neckbreaker, Krip whips Bryce into the corner, tag in H. Dog and Gutbuster, H. Dog going to the run and it's a Drive By! H. Dog going for the pin but Bryce is still too fresh and kicks out easily. 

 

Colin: You definitely hit your big moves too early and it's going to feel like they don't do much. Sneak has Puffin in a headlock, Dog senses an opportunity and goes to get Puffin's feet for a double team...lifts her up and Puffin turns her body, hitting a hurricanrana and modified neckbreaker at once! What a great use of torque. Nice hits a running elbow on Dog, Puffin picks Sneak up, taking him to the top, going up in a piledriver and look at that spin! IMPROBABILITY DRIVE!

Bianca: Once again, Zeke not very effective during their match, but sticking around.  Bryce with a running leg lariat on Dog! And Pam with a crossbody on Deke! Deke and Pam look at each other, look at Bryce, back at each other and off the ropes, they hit with a running cannonball from either side! And Pam gets to the cover before Deke.

Colin: When this W2 began I would have said there was no way Kalpana would go near Neon Juan, but she's grown up so fast. 

 

Bianca: I don't care what others say, I'm here for this version of Kalpana. She's finally learned, you don't have to be completely original, you just have to own it. And she definitely owns that running back wheel kick she just landed on H. Dog. H. Dog responds with a powerbomb. And Deke with a big ol' slap to Puffin, and wraps Puffin into the DTF.

 

Colin: You can see the struggle across Puffin's face but she bites Freak's hand. Running butt bump by Deke to Dog. Dog pushes past him and hits a clothesline to Kalpana! Freak bites Puffin's fingers back. This may have started an unfortunate precedent. Puffin decides against continuing with Freak and jumping neckbreaker to Dog! Freak sees Kalpana down and locks in the DTF! Kalpana struggles a bit, but slaps Freak and he seems to have liked that, he gets off and is rubbing his cheek enamored. Kalpana runs at Puffin and there's the inverted Canadian Driver! Nice to see there's still a bit of this Kal in her. Going for the pin-

Bianca: And Puffin's got the shoulder up. Andra arguing with Kalpana who finally gets off but lays in frustration. Dog thinks he has an opening but instead we have Lift-Off! Possum Stunner! As Puffin throws a quick jab on Freak Kal goes for the pin.

Colin: And suddenly the champions' reign is in jeopardy! There's still teams to go including one with Rade. T. Krip comes in and immediately lifts Deke up with one arm and starts squeezing and shaking him! Taking his left hand free and shaking Deke back and forth into his fists! Deke taps out! 

 

Deke the Sneak is eliminated by T. Krip with the Stupid Bear submission! Eak! is out! 

 

 

The Klaxons "Atlantis to Interzone" plays as sirens go off and Johnny Dagger and Razi Shah run down the ramp.

Colin: And you can see that Kalpana is pissed about this turn of events, and Shah is licking her lips getting ready to attack Kalpana. Sure enough Shah charging at her and leaps with a crossbody but Kalpana catches her and sets her up for the Tombstone NO RAZI SHAH PUSHES HER LEGS BACK AND HAS KALPANA IN A TOMBSTONE OF HER OWN, BACKFLIP TOMBSTONE DRIVER! SHE JUST ONE UPPED KALPANA AT HER OWN GAME! Puffin with a punch on Krip, but Raz goes for the pin on Kalpana!

Bianca: In short order, Shah enters the match, innovates on Kalpana's innovative finisher, and takes her out, showing her the lights for the second time today! If I know Kalpana, this is far from over between these two.

 

Colin: Neon Juan with a slap to Shah, Puffin with a single leg dropkick to Krip. Shah sees the opening with Krip down, going for a run and Springboard 630! Snapmare by Juan on Puffin as Shah pins Krip!

Bianca: Krip up at 2.5! So close. Shah gets up and comes face to face with Juan's corkscrew splash attack! And Puffin with a punch to Krip. Krip and Juan with a double spike piledriver on Puffin! Krip goes for the pin but Puffin is up before 1. Puffin with a running leg lariat to Juan, corkscrew neckbreaker by Krip to Shah and coffin drop and tries for pin but Shah kicks out. Juan and Razi attempt a dual suplex with Puffin but she pushes down and it becomes a double facebuster!

Razi pulls Krip off and reverse suplex! Puffin with a double arm bulldog to Juan. Razi with a second reverse suplex on T. Krip. Juan trips Puffin. Everyone just throwing punches at everyone else, and Shah tags Dagger in.

Flogging Molly "Drunken Lullabies" plays as Glen Leven and Wiski Sour come out, holding flasks and taking drinks of them as they get to the ring. During this T. Krip hits a brainbuster to Juan to a 2-count.

Colin: And I was wondering if we were going to see this team fighting together this event! Good ol' brawlin' is here. Dagger does a backflip and kangaroo kick to Krip! Leven attempts to throw a stiff punch at Dagger but Dagger ducks it and spin kick to the back of the head. Krip attempts a lariat and Juan flips over him and rolling wheel kick! Krip and Leven recognize they are better suited to fight each other and Krip gets the first punch in, immediately going into a series of boxing punches. Dagger hits an Asai Moonsault on Juan! Juan rolls up quickly, Dagger attempts a jumping roundhouse and Juan ducks and flips Dagger from his leg! Juan goes up on the ropes and going for the somersault knee strike but Dagger evades right into T. Krip's fist and Glen Leven takes the Knee-On instead! Juan shrugs and goes for the pin!

Wiski Sour enters the ring.

 

Bianca: That was a quick drink for Leven and now Wiski enters. Juan with an elbow strike to Dagger, and Wiski run off the ropes and Discus Boot to Krip! Wiski charges at Dagger, Dagger catches her with a hurricanrana and tags in Shah with an elbow drop! Juan jumps over this mess and flipping clothesline to Krip! Keeps the momentum going with a flip into a dropkick on Shah, while Krip with a bionic elbow on Wiski. Krip and Juan switch opponents and Juan gets a single-leg dropkick on Wiski but Shah catches Krip into a spinning powerslam! Going for a pin but Krip kicks out easily.

 

Colin: Krip rolls up and gets the momentum going, Lou Thesz Press on Juan. Wiski with a stiff punch on Razi. Razi launches Wiski into an elbow drop on Juan and stuff punch to Krip! Wiski thinks she's getting a continued team-up on Razi and DISCUS SUPERKICK! Razi pins Wiski!

The lights go completely dark as glowing red smiley faces appear. e nomine "Mitternacht" plays as Rade and Ann Lee, in a black onesie with red glowing smiley faces, walk to the ring.

Bianca: Rade is like a kid in a candy shop, just has so much blood to choose from. And Dagger shows no fear, going from the top and planting the Danger Zone on Rade! Rade stumbling a bit. T. Krip with the running knee smash to Juan. Dagger keeping his momentum going and jumping axe kick to Juan! Krip tries to throw a fist at Rade but he stares him down and big chop! Dagger tags in Razi who gives a punch to Juan that startles him against the ropes, and T. Krip with a solid shoulder tackle that startles Rade! T. Krip moves past Rade and hits Juan with the 619, Rade turns around and boot to Raz! Running, rollin rollin rollin, Stunner! Krippler Krunch! Going for the pin but Rade just lifts him off. 

 

Colin: And he drops him onto Juan's knees! That seems unnecessary but he's just amusing himself. Rade lifts Juan up until a Guerilla Press! THERE'S THE SPRAY! IT'S A BLOODBATH! Pin-

Bianca: And Paulie Parrot jumps over the rope and hits a double clothesline on Rade and Razi! Razi OH MY GOD SHE IS PICKING RADE UP AND SAMOAN DROP! Paulie tags in Petey and they hit a double dropkick on T. Krip! That seems to have taken something out of Razi though.

 

Colin: That's not surprising. As she tries to get up T. Krip hits her with an STO. Petey uses Rade being down to hit a jumping elbow drop. T. Krip scoop slams Petey on top of Rade! Rade is taking a lot of a beating! 

 

Bianca: I'm not sure he knows how to operate in a tag setting. Or in a setting with this many moving parts. He...tags in Ann Lee? Okay, that's a choice. She slaps T. Krip. Meanwhile Petey Peacock is about to Get Recked! Razi with the pin.

Colin: Petey kicks up and is ready to go. But Ann is waiting for him with the Chair and she does a Van Daminator on Petey! Okay Ann Lee! T. Krip with an elevated DDT on Razi. Ann goes for the pin on Petey!

Bianca: And Dagger saves her and we've got fists being thrown all around! It's mayhem! Rade tosses Dagger out of the ring, Paulie and Krip with a double sidewalk slam on Razi Shah! T. Krip hits Rade with the chair that's still in the ring! And a quick kick by Razi Shah to Paulie, and she tags Dagger in! And Krip gets Dagger with the chair, Rade drops Paulie with a boot. Rade turns around, T. Krip is about to go for a ride, thrown up and CAUGHT GOING 7 FEET UNDER! TITLES WILL CHANGE HANDS TONIGHT! And we're about to meet our last team!

Smiley faces bounce around the ring and arena area in light form. AWOLNATION feat. Del the Funky Homosapien plays and the crowd goes WILD as Sarah Tonin and Devon Delight run in high fiving everyone they can.

Bianca: Yes!! I was hoping Joy Addition was going to be here. Paulie Parrot with the snap suplex on Dagger. Delight with a running back elbow to Paulie and Dagger rolls up, Rade tries to grab him but Dagger slides between the legs and pops up behind Rade for a dropkick! The action is condensing and Paulie off the top rope, splash into everyone! Triple Powerbomb to Devon! Dagger tags in Shah, stereo hurricanranas on Delight and Parrot.

 

Colin: Delight tags in Sarah! And Shah off the ropes, is this a triple flapjack!! Shah responds with a running kippou kick on Sarah Tonin! Shah is ready to cause problems! Off the ropes, going for the springboard and Ray of Light Cutter on Rade!! Tonin with a scoop slam on Paulie as Sarah goes for the pin on Rade but Rade launches her up off him. Paulie trips Tonin, and Rade sends Shah flying and down with the 7 Feet Under!

Bianca: Dagger saves her by tagging himself in! Paulie tags in Petey. Everyone throwing punches, Tonin lands stiff ones on Petey and Dagger. Tonin attempts a punch on Rade but Rade blocks and punches. Dagger thrown into the Birds' Corner, Paulie tagged back in, everyone going up, and we have another Egg Drop! Paulie attempts a shooting star on Dagger but Dagger rolls out of the way and scoops the flattened Paulie to give him a slam! Flip kick to Rade by Sarah Tonin! Rade responds by throwing her outside! Just launching her with one hand like it's nothing!  Paulie with a quick fist on Dagger. Ann Lee covering Tonin in blood mist!! 

 

Colin: That's truly rough. And inside the ring, Dagger with a Natural Selection on Paulie! Paulie rolls away and TOPE CON HILO ON SARAH OUTSIDE! And Rade with a solid headbutt to Dagger. Parrot makes his way back into the apron, calling for something, springboarding over and SQUAWKBOX TO RADE! Tonin attempts to come in, and Dagger slide kicks her back out. Soft landing though. Parrot going for the cover on Rade...

Bianca: And Rade is up! He's showing some vulnerability here. And he picks Paulie up and begins the headbashing! Speeding it up! GESICHTSMOERDER TO PAULIE! Paulie is bleeding! Going for the cover-

Colin: Petey dropkick to Rade to break the count! But immediately retreats as Rade stares him in the face! Rade picking up both Paulie and Sarah now throwing them both up, DOUBLE 7 FEET UNDER!! GOOD GOD! Going to pin them both, a hand on each-

Colin: Devon and Petey with a double dropkick to Rade to break this up. Sarah kicks Rade in the shins. Paulie throws Dagger in the corner, and oh! This is sneaky, he grabs Shah's hand and forces the tag! Shah makes him pay for this with a Springboard 630!! Going for the count but Petey breaks it. Petey keeps having to save Paulie, and now Tonin throws Paulie to her corner and tags in Devon, Tonin holds Paulie and here comes the clothesline, it's a Joyride! Going for a pin again as Shah hits a flipkick on Rade, but Petey tags himself in this time. Rade throws Petey into his own corner, but Petey dodges the Running Boot, tags Paulie back are they actually going to do this? They don't even to put Rade on the ropes, but now Devon and Shah helping lift Rade up, it's a whole team effort-EGG DROP!

Now we have three full teams remaining, so let's see what happens...first thing is that Devon is looking to tag Sarah back in but Razi Shah pulls him back and ripcord flatliner! And Shah pulls Paulie into a Tombstone Piledriver, Backflip slam! Razoleum! Going for the pin...

Bianca: Petey saves him again! This can only go so long. Stereo Michinoku Drivers by Shah and Delight on the Birds of Play and Petey rolls back out! Delight has Shah in a headlock, Paulie joins him and double inverted suplex! Paulie sneaks the cover...

Colin: And Paulie Parrot greets Dagger with a tornado DDT! And Delight continues with a running splash! Delight turning his attention to Paulie and going for a suplex but Paulie slides down into a neckbreaker. Dagger getting up but Delight waiting for him in the corner...Oregon Trail! Going for the cover-

Bianca: And Shah not leaving her friend behind, kicks Delight off! And Delight tries to get a headlock on Dagger but Dagger with a tilt-a-whirl fisherman suplex! And a Somersault leg drop to Delight as well! Delight gets to his feet and tags Sarah Tonin in, Paulie throws Dagger to the corner and tags Petey in for an assisted wheelbarrow suplex. 

 

Colin: Maybe Petey and Sarah will realize they need to fight each other as well but for now Petey Peacock with a running front dropkick to Dagger. Sarah finally catches on, and throws Petey off the ropes into a solid powerslam. And double suplex by Dagger and Sarah on Peacock. Do you think that mist will have any effect on her?

 

Bianca: Doesn't seem to be slowing her down. She hits a powerslam on Petey. Petey tags Paulie back in and double clothesline to Dagger! Paulie back to Petey and a running forearm shot to Sarah! Dagger comes up and wraps Petey up, Dagger Drop!

Colin: Paulie stops the count. Both Paulie and Petey eating powerslams from Dagger and Tonin. Petey turns this into a snap fisher and pin but Tonin reverses it and Delight distracting Paulie!

Colin: And this puts Joy Addition in a great position. Paulie throws Dagger off the ropes but he comes back with a double clothesline, rattling both Paulie and Tonin! Paulie gets up first and rattles Tonin! And then Tonin swings it around and intense tornado DDT to Dagger! Dagger responds with a spinning Michinoku Driver! Going for the pin-

Colin: If Dagger wins this match, what does that do for his title shot at MAWL Madness?

 

Bianca: My guess is that it's going to go to the missing third. But let's see what happens first.

 

Colin: Paulie Parrot with a float over DDT to Devon Delight. Devon Delight with a punch back. Dagger comes off the ropes and clothesline to both of them! Devon Delight bounces up and a springing roundhouse kick to Dagger! Paulie Parrot from the Corner...did he just do the Oregon Trail to Devon Delight?

 

Bianca: That's what Parrots do. They...Parrot. And going for the cover...

Devon Delight walks Sarah Tonin out, who is holding her head a little bit.

 

Bianca: Parrot with a no arm flip into a dropkick to Dagger. Trying with a slight punch and Dagger blocks and jabs back. Loading his fist, and throwing some quicker punches now. Parrot catches the fist and flips Dagger! Dagger rides the momentum and hits Parrot back with the spinning roundhouse, then flipping over Parrot's head and double-leg roundhouse. Going now for the shining wizard, Paulie flips over the leg and leg-trapped back suplex! Dagger takes the bump but comes around with that axe kick! Quick fist drop for emphasis. Paulie throws a kick to the shin and tries to get up. Dagger goes for the punch, blocked by Parrot and thrown punch in return. Dagger throwing another punch and it's a ruse to hook the arm and snap DDT! Off the ropes and Warning Sign! Goes for the pin...

Bianca: Unbelievable! Both of these competitors took it all the way to the line today.  All of them did, but these two have been nothing but energy and tenacity. And to win a tag title on your first official day, it's amazing. 

 

Colin: And so our utterly insane day 9 comes to an end. We have two more chances to go up in the ranks, more surprises in store. Let's take a look at where we are.

 

 

Bianca: So on the men's side, the two definite outcomes are that Rade has clinched his spot at #1, and that Taylor Tekk is definitely not going to qualify. Convery and Schmetterling right now fighting for that final spot but 2 days left still leaves a bunch to be changed.

 

Colin: On the women's side, it's clear that joining the Nor'Easter has done wonders for Maverick and Imogen, but that battle for 4th is bound to create a widening gyre that could still upend everything. The only person definitely done for is Hazel Clarke, who had the misfortune of inheriting Broadway Bloom's spot at a time when she was 5 losses in the hole. Doing the math, that means that Clarke herself is 2-2 and could potentially have been in a ranking conversation had she been the one to start. I've learned that she's already been given a spot in next year's W2 as a sort of mea culpa.
